Driving Sustainable Change
Join PRSA – bringing together polystyrene and expandable polystyrene stakeholders to champion a circular plastics economy.
Founded jointly by AmSty, a leading integrated producer of polystyrene and styrene monomer, and INEOS Styrolution, the leading global styrenics supplier, PSRA’s mission is to expand recycling access for PS and EPS to ensure polystyrene can be recycled broadly.
PSRA creates a roadmap and action plans for achieving an initial milestone of 60% recycling access in the United States for polystyrene – with an ultimate vision of 100%.
By enabling broad recycling access, PSRA will enhance the sustainable benefits of polystyrene for consumers across a wide range of life-enhancing products.
PSRA’s doors are open to members of the entire PS/EPS value chain:
There is not an organization today focused solely on improving polystyrene recycling access – and along with it –polystyrene sustainability.
Commission Resource Recycling Systems (RRS) research to update current U.S. polystyrene recycling access and establish a path toward 60%
Commitments from value chain partners
Issue news release with Roadmap to 60% recycling access for PS/EPS
With a broad array of stakeholders to improve recycling access for PS/EPS
The formation of PSRA represents a pivotal moment. Circular recycling is happening. Technologies are real, well-funded, scalable and a game-changer for PS and EPS, customers, and consumers who share a goal for a more sustainable planet.
We’re stronger together. Join other leaders in the PS and EPS industries on an important journey toward a truly circular plastics economy.
